I build intelligent systems that automate how businesses operate.
I design and build systems that combine AI, automation, CRM infrastructure, and custom software to solve real business problems, from the first customer call to the closed deal.
The intersection of AI, automation, and how businesses actually run.
Rod Menguis specializes in designing and building AI-powered automation systems, CRM infrastructure, conversational AI, and custom digital applications that help businesses streamline operations.
Instead of starting with technology, I start with how a business operates: where leads come from, where calls go unanswered, where follow-up dies, and where staff burn hours on work a system should do. Then I build the system that fixes it, and I stay accountable for whether it actually works in production.
Systems in production, not concepts.
I don't start with tools. I start with the bottleneck.
Before building anything, I look at how information, people, and processes move through a business. The system design falls out of that, not the other way around.
Find the friction
Where do calls, leads, or requests stall, leak, or go unanswered?
Question the manual work
Which repeated human steps exist only because no system was built?
Automate the mechanical
Routing, follow-up, reminders, logging: machines do these better.
Add AI for leverage
Conversation, qualification, and judgment at a scale people can't cover.
Keep humans where they win
Warm handoffs, relationships, and decisions stay with the team.
Four disciplines, one system.

Building technology that actually solves problems.
I spent 12+ years inside call operations for Bell Canada, AT&T, Dell, and Telus: managing teams, listening to thousands of calls, and watching the same leads die in the same places. That experience is why my systems work. I'm not guessing how a busy front desk or a sales floor behaves; I ran them.
In 2026 I founded my own AI answering company and started building for US businesses: AI receptionists on real phone numbers, CRMs their teams actually use, and automation that turns a missed call into a booked appointment instead of a lost customer.
What keeps me at the keyboard is the moment a system quietly does the right thing on its own: the 2am caller who gets answered, the lead that gets a text in forty seconds, the technician who gets a briefing before he says hello.
Frequently asked
What does Rod Menguis specialize in? Rod specializes in designing and building AI-powered automation systems, CRM infrastructure, conversational AI solutions, and custom digital applications that help businesses streamline operations.
What type of systems do you build?
AI receptionists and voice agents that answer real business phone lines, CRM and communication infrastructure, lead automation and follow-up systems, and custom web applications and internal tools. Everything I show here runs in production for real businesses.
What industries can benefit from AI automation?
Any business that runs on inbound calls and leads: home services, pools and construction, restoration, healthcare and med spas, agencies, legal intake, and professional services. If missed calls or slow follow-up cost you customers, automation pays for itself.
What experience do you have with CRM systems?
12+ years working in and managing CRM-driven sales and support operations, and now architecting CRMs end to end: pipelines, conversation timelines, automation, reporting, and AI layers, on platforms like GoHighLevel as well as fully custom builds.
Can you integrate AI with existing business software?
Yes. Most of my production work connects AI to existing tools through APIs and webhooks: telephony providers, CRMs, calendars, spreadsheets, Slack, and email. You keep your stack; the system adds intelligence on top.
What types of automation workflows do you design?
Speed-to-lead response, missed-call rescue with alerts and tasks, appointment booking and reminders, lead qualification and routing, after-hours message handling with morning digests, QA on call recordings, and reporting pipelines.
Let's build something intelligent.
I'm interested in opportunities involving AI, automation, CRM infrastructure, digital systems, and technology-driven problem solving. Full-time or contract, US hours from Manila.
